Fractional CFO, Strategic Business Advisor, and Executive Coach in Salt Lake City, Utah
I specialize in building and managing high-growth companies across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the internet and technology sectors. Over my career as a CFO, my teams and I have successfully raised over $400 million, generated more than $2.75 billion in shareholder value, and created 7,500 jobs.
While my in-house experience as a full-time CFO has been primarily focused on high-growth enterprise SaaS, technology, and internet companies, I’ve also worked across diverse industries, bringing strategic financial leadership to a wide array of businesses. I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chief Financial Officer on the executive teams of Ryvid, Impartner, Banjo, BROWZ, Nikola Motor Company, Untangle, blinkx plc (LON: RTHM), Kapow Technologies, Packethop, Atrenta, ePeople, and Autonomy plc (LON: AU), where I led its highly successful IPO.
The foundation of my career was built in finance and strategic planning leadership roles at globally respected companies like The Walt Disney Company, PepsiCo, and Nestlé Food Company. These formative experiences gave me invaluable insights into world-class operational excellence, complex financial ecosystems, and innovative business strategies that continue to influence my work today.
In addition to my professional work, I am a frequent speaker to business groups on topics related to the finance role, best practices, and effective executive leadership.
Outside of work, I’m an avid skier and diver, a dedicated maker and gearhead, and a passionate classic car enthusiast. I’ve proudly served three times as Chair of the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance—the longest continuously running classic car event in the United States. I’m also a proud alumnus of Cornell University (where I was honored to receive the prestigious Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Award for contributions and commitment to community service) and Kenyon College.
